When you go to the “Music” menu item, the User playlists are displayed first. If no playlists have been created yet, the text “No playlists found!” appears.
Create playlist
To create a new User playlist click on the “+ Create playlist” button.
Enter a name for the new playlist and possibly a description. You also have the option to upload your own image.
Under “Visibility” you can choose between:
- Public (all groups): Here the playlist is visible to everyone
- Groups (selected groups): Here the playlist is visible only to the groups you have added on the right side
- Private (only for me): Here you can only see the playlist yourself
Adding music tracks to a playlist
If you have created a new user playlist, it is still empty. There is no music in it yet.
In the search window, type the title or artist of the song you want to add and hit enter.
You can preview the music tracks. You do this by clicking on the media icon. You can see from the media icon whether it is an audio track, a video clip or a karaoke song. You can add a song to a playlist by clicking “+ Add to playlist“.
Browse playlists
Here are all the pre-programmed lists. By clicking on the lists you can view the contents of a list.
First you see the categories and if you click on a category you will see the playlists that belong to the category. By clicking on the lists, you can view the contents of a list.
You can see the number of tracks in the playlist and the total playing time. Again, you can preview music tracks. You do this by clicking on the media icon. You can see from the media icon whether it is an audio track, a video clip or a karaoke song.
You can add a song to a user playlist from here by clicking “+ Add to playlist“. You can check multiple tracks and then add them to a list at once. Or click “Select all xxx tracks in this playlist” to select the entire list. You can then add them by clicking the “Add to playlist” button. If you want to use the playlist to start creating a new playlist you can do so by clicking “Duplicate playlist“.
